New Wordpress theme: “Tripwiring” 3

Tripwiring Wordpress Theme

This new wordpress theme is based on the current theme we’re running the Jetpacked site on, we got a lot of good feedback on it, so we decided to create a theme similar, but not too similar to it. Hope you enjoy.

StomperNet Orlando - out of office 0

Just letting everyone know that I will be out of the office and on the road till Monday for the StomperNet Orlando conference.  So if we’re a little slow responding to any support requests please understand we’ll be getting back to you asap, I wont have ‘net access most of the weekend until Monday.

If anyone is a fellow Stomper and down in Orlando post a comment or shoot me an email, maybe we can plan to all meet up for drinks one night.

Article Seed Writing and Distribution service? 5

We’ve been throwing around the idea of creating a article seed writing service for a while now.

We’ve had multiple Jetspinner and Jetsubmitter users suggest that we set this up but it’s quite a large undertaking since we must train writers in how to effectively create seed articles that render the highest levels of uniqueness.

I’ve put together a survey that I would love everyone to fill out to help give us a better idea of the demand and who might be interested.

After you fill out the survey you’ll be given a chance to opt-in to a notification list and get in line to be one of the first to use the service. At this point I expect there to be a decent line of people wanting the articles created and we only have 3 trained writers at the moment (creating highhh quality seed articles takes a very good amount of time and we only use American writers, both the current writers on staff have BS degrees from respected U.S. universities and are native english speakers and very established writers.)

If you are a writer and would be interested in a position writing articles for fellow Jetspinners share a demo article that you have done in Jetspinner with username “tiggman” and send me an email @ todd@jetpacked.com

Jetspinner and Jetsubmitter rock 0

Since Jan 13th 2007 1147 people have taken advantage of the completely free Jetspinner system and hundreds more have jumped on board Jetsubmitter and are using the combination to spin and submit unique versions of the spun articles to hundreds of article directories.

If you haven’t tried Jetspinner what are you waiting for? Beta is over! It’s public and free. Our gift to you, check it out!

Thanks for everyone’s support!

(See some of you at StomperNet Orlando? Post a comment if you’ll be there, we’ll meet up for a drink.)

P.S. Over 100 Jetsubmitters were referred by affiliates who are earning monthly commissions for giving Jetspinner away! If anyone upgrades you get paid. To promote all you need to do is sign up for a free Jetspinner account.

It could be possible to look into the future. 0

As I was looking at photos tonight, my mind began to wonder. What if there was a way to randomize pixels into images. Imagine you start off with a black image, with one white dot in the middle, the randomizer then goes to one red pixel, and one blue pixel. As you eventually go down the line, (billions and billions of images down the line), you would begin to see every possible image different combinations of pixels could make up. A picture of your mother perhaps, a picture of your dog, pictures from different sceneries, a beach, mountains, a picture of you, a picture of you flying through the air, you get the point. Eventually the randomizer would start to produce images of events that haven’t happened yet. Every possible image that could be created would be created, and some of these images would be things that would happen in the future. You wouldn’t be able to predict the future per say, but theoretically, it could be possible to see future events with this method. Of course there is no possible way to tell what is just coincidental randomness, and what is an image of something that will actually happen, but it’s still fun to think about.

83 Beautiful Wordpress Themes 0

There is a post on the front page of Digg right now with the title “83 Beautiful Wordpress Themes You (Probably) Haven’t Seen”. Before I made the jump to the site, thoughts of skepticism went through my head and I asked myself “How bad are these going to be..?” See, the thing is, Digg is full of a lot of tech oriented people, there are more people who design on the back end, coders, than graphic designers. So I was expecting to see a link to the usual ugly blog, with the usual listed post, with mediocre, or even terrible themes on display. When the window loaded Smashing Magazine, I didn’t see any of that, I saw a decent looking blog, (decent, don’t push it. It’s just a free distributed theme anyway, but hey, content is king.) And 83 GREAT looking themes, some look better than others, but over-all there is some great design in there. So if you’re in need of a new theme, don’t bother looking through page after page of TERRIBLE themes at wordpress.net (I’m not even going to link wordpress.net, because you shouldn’t go there.) Just check out this list, you are bound to find a theme that works for you. And if you don’t, and you’re willing to pay for a good theme made specifically for your blog, leave a comment, and you and I can work something out. ;)
