The internet has surely made the world a smaller place. It is possible to work anywhere in the world. You can use what’s called a virtual desktop to make sure you have access to the same software and files you have back home. But even in this digital age we tend to get quite a lot of physical mail which can be quite a hassle for the frequent traveler. Up until recently, being a professional Video editor required massive equipment. Typically you would have a dedicated device or piece of software for each individual task. But today with powerful programs like that offered by Blaze Media Pro you can do it all with just one program and one computer. You can start by using their sound recorder which can record high quality audio from virtually any source you want and includes some nifty features which used to be available only in professional stand alone devices. The Cannon SD750 0

If you are looking for a simple, but amazing camera, the Cannon SD750 is the one you will want to get. It is smaller than a pack of cards, has a 3 inch screen, 7 mega pixels, and has a sleek black backing. Although this is not much different than the previous model, it is still a whole lot better. Just being able to see the pictures you just shot on large screen makes taking good pictures a lot easier.

Digital Rights Management 0

Digital Rights Management or DRM is primarily meant to prevent copying of e-books although it is quite possible that it will result to complete denial of access in purchase. The transaction that occurs in DRM is more similar to a rental or lease rather than a purchase since an e-book under a DRM scheme would come with a number of restrictions whereby the different parties involved can remove access to the purchase.

It is usual that e-books under some format of DRM are tied to specific computers or devices. In these cases, the purchaser is able to move the book a limited number of times. After which, he/she will not be able to move it on additional devices. Some DRM forms depend on the existence of online services. Purchasers will be unable to access the e-book if the company providing such service goes out of business.

A No for Jetpacked.com 0

Okay, I’ll let you be the judge. I just took the domain name analysis test for my domain scorecard at networksolutions.com and it turns out that jetpacked.com is not the ideal domain name for my blog. Well, okay. That’s not exactly what the scorecard depicted but let’s just say my score wasn’t great. You see, there are a number of things that make my choice for jetpacked.com a bit vulnerable. While I love the name and would never change it, I do find a lot of logic in their recommendations and would definitely test out any future domains before launching a new site.
The main problem with jetpacked.com is that it doesn’t contain any descriptive keywords. Sure, it contains the keyword jetpack but as my tagline suggests – the site really doesn’t have anything to do with jetpacks (I still think they’re cool though). A good domain name should have at least one keyword having to do with what your site is about. Another problem is that some of the other extensions for jetpacked (such as jetpacked.net and jetpacked.org) are already taken which leaves me vulnerable to people taking over my brand. Network Solutions makes a great point in recommending website owners to register all the available extensions (at least the most important ones) for their domain name and not just focus on the .com extension. If you have your own site, I highly recommend you take the survey and find out what your domain scorecard looks like.
