If you have been looking closely at some of our posts from the past few days, you may have noticed that some of them have a statement on the bottom indicating the posts were sponsored. This is because we have joined PayPerPost which is a network that allows advertisers looking to generate some buzz about their product or their website to request blog posts be written about them by bloggers in the PayPerPost network.

The concept of blog ads is a great idea from an advertiser’s perspective since it generates a much more natural conduit to bring their message across and does not generate the antagonism that traditional ads often do. After all, readers don’t have to read the posts and they are not intrusive ads that obscure the content you are really interested in.

The fact is that in most cases readers actually find what is said about the advertiser interesting since they are reading an honest review by someone they trust. After all it is up to the blogger to decide what to write about and bloggers don’t have to accept any advertising opportunity they don’t want to.

This is not only a great opportunity for advertisers to get their message across but also finally presents a great way for bloggers to make money doing what they love – simply by blogging and creating interesting content for their readers.

We took commenting off.

We appreciate all of the comments, but we decided it would be best just to take them off. Keeping up with them, moderating them, and approving them is very time consuming. We figured we’d save that time and spend it bringing you more great content. You can still contact us if you have a question or comment about anything. If you want to say something publically on the site, you can always become a contributor, being a contributor means you can post approved articles. Just sign up, write a post, and if we approve it, it gets posted and you get a guest post summary about yourself and a link to your site.

That it does, but it won’t look like this for long. This theme is just a placeholder theme until we finish up the redesign.

Product update posts on jetpacked are no more.

The products haven’t changed, just the location of the update news.

Jetspinner has recently undergone some great upgrades.  As the first and most advanced free article spinner, all the previous features such as random ordering, data merging, random selection, automatic linking, multiple format selection, and zip file downloads are still included, but now our AJAX thesaurus is in Beta testing for all Jetspinner members. 

  Simply click “Activate AJAX Thesaurus” then start typing a section of syntax, such as: “{test|”  – the thesaurus will automatically be triggered and will pull down a list of related words from our database of 33,000 root words and 2.2 million related words.  Play around with it and send your feed back and ideas to us through JetpackedSupport.com, New Ideas category.

Also consider using Jetsubmitter to submit each of your spun variations from Jetspinner to a unique article directory on complete autopiolit.  There is now a 100% automated account creation system (complete with link activation), advanced error reporting, realtime progress spying, 200+ categories, and more.

We’re in the middle of redesigning the site (again). We’re adding some really cool stuff and integrating a tool that will allow users and readers to easily promote their website on Jetpacked.com. Stay tuned…

I just wanted to let everyone know we’re in the process of moving to a new support system (Kayako) it should expedite the process of us getting back to your support requests. It also includes a built in FAQ service that will read your question as you type it and render possible answers to your questions in real time via AJAX.

I’ve been out of town all weekend and just got back into the office today.
