We got our private beta invite for the new mailplane mac app. Mailplane provides apple users with a rich gMail experience on OS X, there are keyboard shortcuts, file drag and drop, and iPhoto integration. While all of this is great, the best thing about it is that it includes Google Talk, right on the desktop. Yes, you can access Talk with adium and even iChat, but not like this.
