The way ads should be displayed

I was on a link train tonight, (that’s what I call when you start at one site, and eventually make your way through a number more, and end up at a different site.) And I came across PureBlogging.com. It looks like a fairly new site. I’m a pessimist and yet I still can’t think of anything negative to say about it. It’s got a nice clean, smooth layout, great colors, and it’s very easy to navigate. All of this is really great, but the thing I like most about it, is how he displays his ads. Their not intrusive or blended into his post for maximum CTR. I feel that doing that is a little dishonest, yes it makes you money, but how many of those clicks are actually meant to be clicked? Pureblogging’s ads are organized very well underneath posts, just enough space away from the actual content. Also he has a great looking ad box to the right of the layout, which makes the site flow and look really great. That’s how ads should be, in my next post, I’ll show you how ads shouldn’t be, and roast a certain “dot com mogul..”

UPDATE: I found something I don’t like! The title description of his site is exactly what problogger‘s is. C’mon David, be original. ;)
